Sleeps up to 3 adults or a couple with small children, the Blue Heron - Love Nest Cottage is on a five acre farm with two other homes. The farm features a large natural spring pond with a dock & row boat for a fun excursion. This is the perfect place for an artists retreat, or to simply enjoy the peace & quiet. There is a gorgeous Hwy 1 Scenic Coastal drive to this home. You can walk to the “Bonny Doon Vineyards” tasting room, or take a stroll alongside the fresh water stream. Just 3-1/2 short miles to the coast and the Bonny Doon beach. This sweet cottage has a comfortable living room with a decorative fire stove & free firewood, full kitchen with gas stove, microwave, coffee maker etc. The bedroom features a Queen bed and several mirrors. The bathroom has a shower. Towels and Bonny Doon Soap is provided. There is a Twin futon/couch in the living room. The dining room is open to the living room. Next to the fireplace is a four person wooden table for romantic dinners. There is open space around the home, sunshine and deer in the back forest. The laundry is next door with a nice couch and reading library. The cottage is just a quick five mile drive to Davenport for formal or casual dining. Davenport features a Café/Bakery several restaurants, art galleries, and gift shop! 3.5 miles to Bonny Doon Beach, 1 hour to San Francisco and 2-hrs to Montery Bay Aquarium. Lots of Wildlife!, Open skies/ starry nights! Many wildflowers along the hiking trails. This is a great location for bird watching as well. Gorgeous California Coast with breath taking views! A spectacular area! (Pescadero is about 1/2 hr north Be sure to check out famous Bakery Arcangeli Grocery Company / Norm's Market, and Duarte's Restaurant) The home is located 3.5 miles (on the way to the home)- from Fambrini's Organic fruit stand! Plenty Coastal Beaches, Wildlife, Birds, Frogs and Open Space, Quiet and Peaceful. If your group needs extra room for 2 more people, the BH-Farmhouse is available at the following rate $45/week nights $60/weekends nights and $300 weekly. These rooms are only rented with one of the other cottages.
