FAMILY COVE HOME: Located just 2-1/2 blocks to the Beach, Wharf & Boardwalk and close to downtown Santa Cruz, within walking distance to the famous Pacific Mall for fabulous shopping in the heart of downtown, two movie theaters, natural foods grocery store, fine restaurants, unique shops and many other attractions. Just a few level blocks away is the world-famous Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk with the West Coast's longest remaining wooden roller coaster and FREE world-class entertainers on Friday nights during the summer, and all the beautiful sandy beaches anyone could want. Surfing lessons are taught daily on the cove on the right side of the Wharf. There are 3-parks in the immediate area, one is the new Santa Cruz Bike Park (one of only 5 in the US) where BMX bike riders do 720s (two spins), no handers and back flips. Another park has a volleyball court that also has swings & slides next to it. The third park is the elegant Neary Lagoon is 1/2 block down the street from the home, in a 44-acre park, which is wetland ecosystem and wildlife refuge and has a large system of boardwalks to view the birds & flowers. Close to a major bus line, the home offers high-speed internet hookup and a computer to use while guests are here. This is an almost new “from paint to flooring” home. It sleeps up to 12 in 3 sleeping areas. It features a completely remodeled full bathroom and another 1/2 bath, new carpet, new paint, new linoleum, new mattresses, new bed frames and new futons. The fencing is new and the yard is entirely enclosed and has just been landscaped - including sprinklers, grass, a walkway path, and potted plants. This unit features 3-off street parking spaces (no parking passes with this unit), a new refrigerator, new pots and pans, new silverware along with a dishwasher, washer and dryer. The Master Bedroom has a King with a Twin Trundle, the 2nd Bedroom has a Queen with another Twin Trundle and the Great Room has two Queen innerspring futons. Amenities include: TV & Entertainment Center with cable service, new smoker BBQ, computer station with high speed internet and phone service with free unlimited local and long distance and 43 International countries included and board games. There are 3-off street parking spaces available (no additional parking permits.) At this time we do not have bicycles on this side. Both sides of the duplex are completely pet friendly (for well behaved pets) and include a "dog run" in the back yard area. The Family Cove and the Family Corner home can be reserved together for up to 24 guests and both homes are arranged similarly
