After walking back from the beach, rinse off at the outdoor shower, soak in the hot tub. Then go to the front deck with padded chairs, patio table, 9 foot umbrella, and gas barbecue to enjoy a comfortable, relaxed outdoor experience. There is 1-carport space and more space available on street parking - no permits required. The outdoor deck is surrounded with flowers at the street level.
Master Bedroom upstairs has 1-Queen bed and stained glass lamps; with a nice decor and TV with DVD player. The 2nd bedroom is downstairs with a nice beach decor with 1-Queen bed. The Full bath is next to this bedroom. There is also a 1/2 bath at this home. The last bedroom is a small bedroom with 2-Twin beds in a bunk style for small children or (adults under 5'4") to sleep. The bedding and linens are new and colorful, and beach towels, chairs, and sand toys are included in this wonderful vacation home.
Have fun cooking with others in this fully equipped kitchen with a table that seats 4+ and all new appliances. There is also a large washer and dryer at the home.
Enjoy the cozy Living Room with 2 large couches; (1 of the couches is a sofa bed.) Also includes TV/VCR and fireplace. Great room to sit and read by the fireplace, watch videos or listen to music. The shelves are full of books, board games and cards and a CD player.
Relax in the hot tub in private back area of the home, just off a small gravel alley, which also can be accessed to park 1-car. Just 3-short blocks down the large Rio Del Mar beach. There is a nice seafood restaurant-the Rio Sands, an Espresso bar, The Pixie Deli (with outdoor seating & BBQ Tri-tip & Chickens) on the Rio Del Mar Esplanade. The Rio Del Mar beach is great for long walks (7-miles) or for jogging. Pet friendly! but not not fully enclosed back yard. Room along side of the home for the dog to go outside. Also room on the deck for the pet to be with owners.
There are 2 parking spaces in front of the home and 1 private parking space in the back of the home. This is a central location for all activities in the Santa Cruz area and down to Monterey. Come enjoy yourselves! Hot tub, bring your family dog and take long walks on Rio Del Mar beach - over 7 miles long!!!
Capitola is a short 7-minute drive from this home. It is 15 minutes to Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and Santa Cruz Wharf with restaurants and shopping. The world famous Monterey Bay Aquarium is a scenic 45 minutes away!
